Synopsis

The exhibition will display more than 45 pieces of painting works during his last 10 years of artistic pursuit. The ideas behind the paintings are to cherish the human body form, with concepts drawn from deep psychological feelings through the pilgrimage of growing up and daily living in Hong Kong and elsewhere… air, light, sound, food, senses and inspirations.

Confucius said: “The intellectuals love the stream, the selflessness loves the mountain”, (Analects of Confucius)

The movement of water in a stream resembles the movement of knowledge and wisdom. The height of the mountain resembles the broadness of the heart and selflessness. The moment we understand the aliveness of the mountain and stream, the moment we understand ourselves better.
