fotogalerie

Every major city ought to have at least one photography galleries. In our urban environment we are constantly visually accosted by the commercial application of photography in print media and on advertising billboards. Yet photography has a complex language, tempered by the precision of technology and the intuitiveness of the human eye. It is a powerful form of communication in images.

However, photography is possibly one of the most accessible art forms. The fotogalerie is designed to provide an informal setting for the display of photographs. It also provides Hong Kong photographers with a space to show their work, meet, give talks, and conduct business. It is where they can communicate about their work and make photography accessible to the general public. Consistent with the other exhibition facilities in the Fringe Club, the arts are fully integrated with city-living. It is a place where people can meet for a drink or a snack, enjoy the art, and see a performance
