Fringe Studio

Before WWII this space was used for cold storage of winter clothing in the hot humid Hong Kong summer to keep away the mildew. The space is now a black-box studio with curtain masking which, when taken down, shows terracotta walls and tall shuttered windows. A concrete tank, originally used for refrigeration, has been converted into a control room and dressing room.
