Monkey Music

Monkey is an independent artist who has participated in many music events, large and small, including the Freespace Happening, AIA The Great European Carnival, Shan Zhai Music and City Echo.  He’s not very good at talking, so he prefers to express his thoughts through music.  As well as performing original music that he produces himself, he also sings covers re-arranged to fit his own unique style.

Yip is the drummer in the band Something Blue.  By transforming his work pressure into rhythm, he feels that he’s alive again.  He is now the partner of Monkey Music, trying to add energy to the songs.

Black Vest

In the autumn of 2016, lead vocalist Archvictor was frustrated because of a love affair.  Around about that time, he met Samuel, who also loved 80s and 90s Cantopop and helped Archvictor to heal his anxiety.  Together, they worked on a small project and found that they shared the same momentum.  Later, they invited bassist Boris and guitarist Mann to join them, forming the band Black Vest.  Since then, the band has performed in many venues, and audiences love their energetic gigs.  In 2017, they were invited to perform in mainland China.

A Hong Kong rock band.  Rock with a scent of Folk and Grunge.  Occasionally Pop.
