Hope in Motion Concert

In celebration of the joyous season of giving, Elaine Liu + Starlight Elan Orchestra and the Fringe Club presents -  Hope In Motion Concert. Part of the proceeds will go to Operation Santa Claus. The live show will be recorded and broadcast on RTHK Radio 3 (97.9FM) on 26 December 2014, 1:10pm-2pm

Elaine Liu is Hong Kong’s premier and most in-demand jazz vocalist, and was the first-ever vocalist from Hong Kong to sing with the Duke Ellington Orchestra. Her smoky, alluring voice can be heard regularly on radio and television, in Hong Kong’s top jazz venues, and in the territory’s leading concert halls and cultural centres. She has been working with Hong Kong’s best musicians for many years. She played at Alexanderplatz in Rome in 2007, represented Hong Kong at the Taiwan Jazz Festival in 2002 and the 2007 Singapore Chinese Festival, and performed with the Saturday Night Jazz Orchestra at the Shanghai Expo 2010, Taipei Hong Kong Week 2012 and Spotlight Hong Kong in Penang 2014.
