Synopsis
Travelling through remote and lonely villages in Scotland and Wales, Frank works his magic, curing the sick and giving strength to the weak. Frank has a gift. A gift of healing. His powers are real, are they ?
"Faith Healer" is a haunting and spellbinding piece of theatre that tells the story of Frank, his wife Grace and manager Teddy who each take turns to recall their lives together, unveiling a pool of fractured and contradictory memories.
Acclaimed Hong Kong company Theatre du Pif brings its signature physical and emotional intensity to Brian Friel’s celebrated masterpiece – a profound meditation on art, faith and the stories we cling to for survival.
