What's On : Exhibition

This exhibition traces the remarkable transformation of Hong Kong’s Old Dairy Farm Depot, a historic landmark that began as a vital hub for milk distribution in 1892 and later became a thriving center for arts and culture.

華洋共處是香港的獨有文化，我們曾經擁有不少百貨業巨擘掌握着時代的步伐。進口的舶來品在我們熟悉的永安，先施或瑞興出現。日本文化的滲入為我們帶來大丸，崇光及八佰半。當然還有承載我們中國傳統的國貨公司如中藝及裕華。我們希望透過展覽及裝置去呈現香港舊時代百貨業的模樣，令大眾找回一些集體回憶。
