Between Strokes

Between Strokes marks Elaine Wong’s first solo exhibition and an important stage in her artistic journey. Rooted in Chinese calligraphy, the exhibition brings together ink, cyanotype, gold leaf and negative space to explore time, silence and the inner state of being. In a world increasingly shaped by speed and constant distraction, the exhibition invites us to pause and reconsider the moments that exist between each action.

A stroke is both a beginning and an ending. What lies between them — the pause, the space, the breath — is where meaning unfolds. Between Strokes is an invitation to slow down, to look again, and to find one’s own rhythm within the space between.
