About Treptow:

Three summers, more than 75 festival shows, and still hungry for more: Treptow, an alternative rock duo from Berlin, has become one of Germany’s top festival bands. With over 14 million streams and more than 300 concerts in 12 countries under their belt, the Berlin-based duo is gearing up for another jam-packed year.

Without backing tracks or safety nets, the two-piece delivers the fury and raw energy of a full punk band. With poetry, intensity, and humor, the two friends take the stage with an unmatched drive.

Philipp Taubert, singer and guitarist, was born and raised in East Berlin, right in the heart of the capital. Lukas Lindner, drummer and Philipp’s brother from another mother, grew up in a small town by Lake Constance. With Mozambican roots and a restless spirit, he was drawn to the road—just like Philipp. After finishing school, both felt the urge to break free, leave their familiar surroundings behind, and eventually meet each other on their travels. A few years of friendship later, in 2017, they launched their eponymous band in the Berlin district of Treptow and have been shaking up the German-speaking music scene ever since.
