“Jazz-Go-Central, Jazz-Go-Fringe”

An exciting Jazz music development project, using Fringe Club as base to

-          elevate artistic standard, status and popularity of Jazz music;

-          nurture young jazz musicians;

-          create a vibrant Jazz scene in Hong Kong.


1. Project Coordinator (full-time, around 2 years)

Major Responsibilities:

  • To assist Project Manager in programme planning, scheduling, artists co-ordination, ticketing and front-of-house operation of Jazz performances;
  • To co-ordinate educational and learning programmes, including workshop, master-class, open rehearsal, Jazz Youth Scheme and teaching kit;
  • To assist the promotion of the project such as production and delivery of marketing materials; 
  • To assist ad-hoc tasks and administrative tasks assigned by Project Manager.



  • Degree holder or above in music / art administration/ production related/ cultural management or related disciplines and relevant working experience;
  • Good communication and writing skills;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft computer applications (Excel, Word, Powerpoint);
  • Love of music and the arts;
  • Detail-minded, and strong ability to work under pressure and multi-task;
  • Creative, self-motivated and well-organized;
  • Flexible working hours and overtime work (including public holiday) are required occasionally.


2. Marketing Co-ordinator (part-time)

Major Responsibilities:

  • To assist Project Manager in drafting and execution of strategic marketing plan to enhance project awareness and manage deliverable timelines;
  • To draft, review, edit, proof-read and handle translation for marketing materials;
  • To maintain and provide content management of the project on social media platforms and website content;
  • To create and deliver publicity materials, media relations content, newsletter content including press release; media kit, house programme, poster, leaflet, seasonal launch, etc.;
  • To take photographic images and videos during events for use in the website, social media and publications;
  • To conduct marketing research through audience survey and focus group, analyze survey results and submit written report.



  • Bachelor degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Business Administration, Marketing or related field;
  • Hands on experience with websites, social media and design and video editing tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, Final Cut Pro etc. is distinct advantage;
  • Good communication and writing skills;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft computer applications (Excel, Word, Powerpoint);
  • Able to deal with deadlines and with good time management at work;
  • Creative, self-motivated, flexible and able to work independently and under pressure
